Brian Scibinico - Music - Sound Design

Brian Scibinico is a sound designer based in New York City whose production and songwriting skills have made him a well-known and respected artist in the twin worlds of music and sound.

Brian is originally from Baltimore, MD, a hotspot for the east coast rave scene in the '90s. He was an avid participant in that culture and has been producing music since that time. His personal musical style has been likened to Royksopp, Junior Boys, and Booka Shade. As "Edit Machine", he produces minimal and tech house remixes for a variety of dance music imprints (More Music, Mizumo, System Recordings).

Since early 2003 Brian has been actively engaged in sound design and mixing for film, tv, and video game projects. Some highlights of his career include: sound design for "Which Way Home" (Oscar 2010 Documentary Nominee), sound editing for "The New Tenants" (Oscar 2010 Short Film Winner), and most recently, supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer for "Gasland" (Sundance 2010 Documentary Special Jury Prize Winner).
